Emma moved to the United States from Sweden when she was 7 years old.  Her big break came at age 12 when she was cast as Maris Bingham in Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous.  Emma also originated the role of Kendra in Jason Robert Brown's Thirteen at the Mark Taper Forum.  She graduated with a degree in Communications from UCLA and then went on to play the title role in The Little Mermaid at the Muny and the iconic Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, directed by Laura Bell Bundy. Emma can be heard in the role of Susanna on the cast recording of Desperate Measures (available on Spotify and Apple Music). She is also well known for playing the Shimmy Girl in the revival of Smokey Joe’s Cafe for which she received a Chita Rivera nomination in 2019.

Emma spent the following year playing a variety of roles throughout New York City, auditioning, and working with a very special child named Zoe.  She was slated to originate the role of Anna in Muriel’s Wedding, which was bound for Broadway, when the world shut down.   After a long, slow lockdown in LA, Emma returned to New York City and her work with Zoe.  With no performing opportunities on the horizon, Emma found enormous joy spending time with Zoe and her family and began to form an idea to do a series of live stream performances for children with special needs.  Who knew signing up for a meditation class would open the door to set things in motion?  She met Hannah Jewel and Bringing You Broadway was born.

Hannah is a lover of ALL people and the arts and has had a long-standing passion for bringing communities together through entertainment. As a young adult, she co-founded a traveling group of performers, providing entertainment and community services to seniors in residence facilities. She has since volunteered at children’s hospitals, schools, and shelters bringing music and light to those most vulnerable. Recently, she recorded music for Dick Wagner’s “Remember the Child”. When the pandemic hit, Hannah created “Jewel Focus” a virtual program leading individuals through the practice of meditation, cultivating fearlessness and providing basic communal support. She also teaches Master Classes for Broadway Connections, Broadway Plus, and ArtsBridge foundation among many other organizations. Hannah is thrilled to be embarking on this new adventure with Emma and Bringing You Broadway.  “Lead by Example” is Hannah’s favorite quote.
